Jean-Paul JAMIN

Jean-Paul Jamin is a civil engineer architect with over 40 years of experience in architecture, urban development and real estate project coordination.

Throughout his career, he has founded and led several architectural practices, including Acte 1, and was a partner at the architecture and urban planning firm Altiplan. He has managed multidisciplinary teams and contributed to the development of complex real estate projects across Belgium and internationally.

Jean-Paul is also the founder of Imaj’N, a company focused on creating synergies between stakeholders involved in real estate and construction projects. Through this platform, he supports project development, delegated project ownership (maîtrise d’ouvrage déléguée), and technical advisory, with a strong emphasis on coordination, alignment and value creation across all project components.

He has developed strong expertise in architectural and urban programming, as well as in the structuring and coordination of projects throughout all phases of development. His approach integrates environmental considerations, technical constraints and stakeholder expectations to ensure coherent and sustainable project outcomes.

Jean-Paul has also been involved in major development operations, including the delegated project ownership of the Tubize Outlet Mall project, combining retail, residential and large-scale infrastructure components.

He has held several strategic roles in the sector, including administrator of architectural firms and member of the Public Procurement and PPP Commission at the Belgian Order of Architects. He also served as a judge at the Commercial Court of Liège, reinforcing his understanding of legal, contractual and governance challenges.

Jean-Paul brings a pragmatic and transversal approach to projects, with a strong ability to synthesise complex situations, identify value drivers and align stakeholders around a shared vision.

Jean-Paul works in close collaboration with Nicolas Fruy on municipal projects and urban development assignments. Together, they combine programming, project structuring and financial expertise to deliver coherent and actionable solutions.
